If you have to witness fashion, jewellery, glamour, Bollywood and a passionate fervour under one roof, there is just one place to go to , India International Jewellery Week (IIJW).
As there is just one day to go for Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers to unveil their next collection at IIJW Mumbai 2014, we are having some pangs of nostalgia about the fantastic experience we have had in the previous editions of IIJW !!
2010 : When it all began !!
It all began in 2010 which was the first edition of IIJW and Birdhichand was one of the premier participants from Jaipur. We showcased our jewellery collection with the famous British Indian rapper and hip hop singer as well as playback singer and actress in Bollywood, Hard Kaur as our showstopper.
2011: The evening of Adrishya
Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers launched ‘Adrishya’, the matchless collection which was crafted with a special technique where gold jewellery was bedecked with precious stones in an invisible gold setting. The highlight of the show were the beautiful Egyptian dancers who added a unique spark to the show and set an example. Malaika Arora Khan graced the evening with the gorgeous jewellery by Adrishya.
2012: When the pleasant aroma of Aranya filled the air at IIJW 🙂
The year 2012 witnessed the launch of the nature inspired collection Aranya by Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers with a 3D projection perhaps the first time on ramp in India. The showstopper was none other than the stunning former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen who walked like a queen bejeweled in the gems by Aranya.
2013 : The art reincarnated by Amér at IIJW Delhi
In the first edition of IIJW in Delhi, Birdhichand made a mark by creating a set of royal train on the ramp and launching its collection Amér, inspired by architecture of Rajasthan. The showstopper was none other than the beautiful and sizzling former Miss universe Lara Dutta.
2013: Presenting Amér again, yet in a unique and unforgettable style
Just like every year, Birdhichand spellbound all with its innovation and creativity by creating a life sized set of the Amer fort of Jaipur. The collection Amér was presented with a depiction of Rajasthan in three different eras of Bollywood with four showstoppers from Indian cinema viz. Sharmila Tagore, Ila Arun, Kangana Ranaut and Vidyut Jammwal.
With the lovely memories and an arena of happiness and fashion, we are all excited top bring our new collection Aks for IIJW Mumbai 2014 !!
