Birdhichand unveils ‘Delhi Durbar’ in an art-filled flamboyant show at New Delhi!

Bollywood Fashion Icon Sonam Kapoor walks the ramp as the showstopper for Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas in full regalia with the riveting Birdhichand’s Delhi Durbar jewellery.

Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jaipur celebrated its presence in the capital while officially unveiling ‘Delhi Durbar’ collection with an extravagant gala at the Taj Palace on Saturday, 8th September’18.

History- The Delhi Durbar was held thrice in the capital city in the years 1877, 1903 and 1911. The epoch of 1911 witnessed enthronement of George V and Queen Mary as the Emperor and Empress of India. They being the unprecedented British monarchs to visit Imperial India were welcomed with exceptional pageantry while exhibiting the kingly treasures.

Birdhichand’s Delhi Durbar revives the same spirit of grandeur and magnificence frozen in the history of Durbars in India during this show.

The scintillating venue of the magnificent Delhi Durbar was set up like a Char Bagh built in ivory colour theme with beautiful arches and domes, fountains, stately pavilions, antiques, and elaborately decorated pathways bringing back the epic saga of grandiosity.

When one decides to move forward, change is the only constant.

It all started with a journey that began in 1930 when Birdhichand started with a simple name carved on the terracotta pink sandstone, symbolic of its home – pink city.
The brand then experienced sweeping winds of change in terms of experiences, positioning, innovations & identity, is now marking a new milestone on this journey. We hereby present the new logo of Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers, where the initials B and G refer to Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas, the forefathers & founders of the luxury house that started in 1930. The initials are designed inside an octagon that symbolises the octagonal stone setting on a jewellery design.
